A night at the movies

We went to a new movie house in the area. This building was part of a 9 screen multiplex that more or less showed the same films as the upscale theater in a big shopping mall less than a mile away. And there was another multiples with higher prices where you could get food and drinks about two miles in the other direction. So Regal Cinemas bought the place, threw on a new coat of paint, and new chairs. They say they improved the projection and sound system, but I thought it was okay before. Now they raised their prices to match the other close by theater and added food and drinks. The aisles are very wide and the chairs are nearly lie flat, you could fall asleep. Except, they seemed to have turned up the sound to the pain threshold to show us they really did get new speakers. Not sure this is the way to watch a movie.
